TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL

November 19, 2019

Jude 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Thought: The Bible teaches that we are to have a healthy respect for those who are in positions of power. False teachers do not. They have a disdain for authority, especially the authority of God. They need to learn a less from the archangel Michael. When he contended with the devil about the body of Moses, he did not bring against him a railing accusation. He was content to let the Lord deal with this evil power. Many today would do well to follow the example of Michael as well.

Deuteronomy 34:5-7
